Contexto
Brazil is the world champion in what regards LGBT rights violations. In this universe, transvestites and transsexuals are in first place as the segment with the most violated rights and one of the sectors that suffer the most school evasion. Research made by the Federal University of Pernambuco shows that 80% of the transvestite and transsexual population in the state, but more specifically in Recife, is excluded from schools due to institutional violence. Among their most significant challenges there is the impossibility of using their social name in school documents or using bathrooms according to their Trans person gender. They also suffer bullying and have their gender identities ignored.
