Objetivos e público alvo
The PAJUBÁ: TRANSFORMING THE POLITICAL GRAMMAR project aims to strengthen the institutional capability of ANTRA, expanding its acting in advocacy, communications and direct care in the territories. The priority target groups are trans and travesti people, especially those in situations of social vulnerability, violence, and exclusion from the formal job market.
Contexto
The trans population in Brazil faces a scenario of extreme vulnerability, marked by unemployment, marginalization, and institutional violence. The ascension of conservative forces has intensified the discrimination, promoting hate speech and hindering access to basic rights. Moreover, organizations that act in defense of LGBTQIA+ people have suffered systemic attacks, damaging their sustainability and political advocacy. The resources will be used to promote activities such as the training of leaders, capacitation in resource mobilization, strategic communication, advocacy actions, production of informative materials, and campaigns for public engagement, seeking to expand the visibility of trans and travesti people’s fight and to promote social inclusion. Part of the resources will also be used in local partnerships and in the monitoring of actions, guaranteeing the project’s efficacy and impact.
