Objetivos e público alvo
The project aims to strengthen the comprehensive security of terreiro* communities from the Caipora Quilombo**, located in Salvador and metropolitan region, through the implementation of social technologies of community safety and emotional health practices. The actions include the creation of safety booklets, care and selfcare workshops, psychological accompaniment, and community charting through social cartography. The priority target group is Black women, religious leaders, and local communities that face violences and threats due to religious racism and land disputes.

Contexto
The Caipora Qulombo, where the Ilê Asé Ofá Omi Layó Terreiro is located, has been the stage for severe violences, including the murder of Mãe Bernadete, a religious leader executed with 20 gunshots. The community, mainly comprised of Black women and terreiro leaders, lives in constant vulnerability, facing threats to physical and emotional integrity. The Iya Akobiode Collective arises as a protection and resistance network, articulating actions of security, care, and community strengthening in a context marked by conflicts and grief.
Sobre a Organização
The Iya Akobiode Collective was founded by Black women, mostly religious leaders of candomblé terreiros, with the goal of promoting the guarantee of rights and the fight against religious racism. It acts in Salvador, Simões Filho and metropolitan region, developing actions of community strengthening, political articulation, and protection of traditional territories. It takes part in networks such as the Odara Institute and KOINONIA, as well as counting with local and national partnerships for the promotion of Black and local communities’ rights.
