Objetivos e público alvo
The project aims to strengthen the autonomy and civil rights of cis, trans and travesti women in homelessness and drug abuse situations in the territory of Cracolândia, in São Paulo. The priority target group includes Black, Indigenous and immigrant women who face multiple vulnerabilities, such as gender violence, racism, transphobia and xenophobia.
Contexto
Cracolândia is a territory marked by intense social vulnerability, police brutality and exclusion. Cis, trans, and travesti women faces challenges such as the lack of access to basic rights, gender violence and discrimination. The requested resources will be used to undertake human rights workshops, to strengthen the support network and to expand the collective’s political advocacy, ensuring greater visibility and protection to the beneficiaries.
Sobre a Organização
The Tem Sentimento Collective was formalized in 2021, but has operated since 2016 in the territory of Cracolândia. Its team is comprised mainly of cis, trans, and travesti women, who promote actions of sheltering, damage reduction, income generation, and political training. The collective is part of networks such as the PopRua Committee and the Rede Centro Forum, as well as actively participating in cultural events and advocacy actions. In 2023, it has received the Fashion Futures Prize in the category of social projects, advocacy and public policies.
