Registered with the state of São Paulo’s Nota Fiscal Paulista tax refund program, the Fund has established partnerships with stores in the capital to collect receipts donated by customers. This will allow the Fund to receive rebates on part of the sales taxes imposed by the state, with the resources going toward the further development of its social investment activities.
To strengthen its relationship with the participating stores, the Fund holds campaigns alluding to special dates related to specific themes in human rights.
In March, when International Women’s Day (8) is celebrated, a message highlighted the importance of defending the rights of women. Natura Cosmetics, partner in this outreach program, donated products distributed amongst the stores. Similar events occurred last year – in November, for Black Consciousness Day (20); in June, Gay Pride Day (29); and in April, Indigenous Day (19). To see photos, CLICK HERE.
