The foundation’s project coordinator, Maíra Junqueira, was in the states of Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais and in the Federal District to get an up-close look at the initiatives supported in 2012 and also to visit organizations that received support in years past.
The visits are part of a systematic effort by the Fund team to cultivate close contact with beneficiaries; and they continue and demonstrate the commitment to monitor activities in loco, offer groups technical support, while also maintaining dialog with earlier initiatives after the donation period has come and gone.
Lastly, Maria Chiriano, projects assistant, held a reception for members of the Union and Inclusion of Radio Networks (UNIRR), a São Paulo project supported in the Special Selection of 2012, at the Brazil Fund’s headquarters.
